FAQ & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
How often should I complete LOTO training?
LOTO training should be refreshed regularly to ensure safety and compliance. For most workplaces, it is recommended to:
- Complete initial training before performing isolation tasks.
- Undertake refresher training at least every 12 months, or sooner if:
- There are changes to equipment, processes, or isolation procedures.
- There has been an incident or near miss related to isolation.
- A worker demonstrates a gap in knowledge or practical skills.
Regular training helps maintain awareness of hazards and ensures all workers are confident in applying Lock Out Tag Out procedures safely.
